Hi! Im The Bearded Mentor - a Life Awareness Project–qualified Pranayama and Breathwork Instructor with years of experience helping people to reconnect with their bodies, regulate their emotions, and step back into their personal power — all through the breath.

As a qualified Pranayama and Breathwork instructor with over 30 years of frontline incident‑management experience in His Majestys Prison Service, Ive spent decades supporting colleagues and those in my care, through critical incidents, conflict and trauma. As such, I deeply understand the stresses carried by first responders, military personnel and prison staff alike. I've mentored and prepared frontline teams to be resilient, assertive, confident, and grounded in their personal wellbeing. My career has centred on keeping people safe — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally - helping them build the inner stability required to navigate demanding roles.
Having worked alongside first responders throughout my career, I understand the weight of split‑second decisions, the emotional aftermath of critical incidents and the strain that constant readiness places on the nervous system. The consequences of demands placed on service personnel (intense discipline, hyper‑vigilance, emotional suppression and the challenge of switching off long after the mission ends) often goes unseen and unprocessed. Today, I'm bringing this tactical mindset to Breathwork.
